Top Tip for sporting parents #2
Your child looks up to you and as their mentor and role model your sporting child will start to mimic you. As such, you should model composure and poise on the sidelines. When you are at competition, your child mimics your behaviour as well as other role models. You become a role model in how you react in a competitive environment or to a poor referees decision and I know how frustrating that can be. Stay calm, composed, and in control during matches so your child superstar can mimic those positive behaviours.
#2 - Role Model.
