Therefore all juniors and seniors are to start at 6:15pm and carry on through until 8:15pm. with regards to the children (4yrs-11yrs) they also start at 6:15pm but with the option to finish at 7:15pm. This schedule will take effect immediately and will be in place as from FRIDAY 6th OCT.
COMPETITION On Saturday 14th October; there is a local competition in Southampton. The venue is the Oasis Academy. Romsey Road, Lord`s Hill, Southampton. SO16 8FA. We have a team from KMA Sports Academy taking part. If you are available that day and would like to come along and support the club we would love to see you there. The event get's underway at 9:30am Please note that the Saturday class at St Peter's (Bournemouth) will be closed that day.
CLUB UNIFORMS Please note that all club uniforms should be branded with the club logo's including the CUBS (4yrs-6yrs) TIGERS (7yrs-11yrs) and KMA (seniors) This helps create a sense of unity in the club and identity at events. All of these are ordered from our club shop. Please check it out.
COMMUNITY PROJECT - KMA Give Something Back I believe we have a responsibility to give something back to the community. Not only will this prove to be an educator to the children in the club but it will further their understanding of the clubs values. Every year we will have a project(s) that everyone can get involved with and will be open to suggestions from parents and children. This will be a collaborative project between Dorset and Hampshire KMA Clubs. Please check out AOK Rucksack appeal, a charity that we will be supporting. Their aim is to help homeless off the streets and into accommodation and back into the community. They provide emergency rucksacks of essential items to new homeless people and offer incentives "to Move Indoors" by issuing baskets of healthy food, bowls of new clothes and toiletries and buckets of household essentials. This is where I think as a club we can help. I will keep you posted on the finer details of how we can all help make a difference and give something back.
SATURDAY MORNING CLASS I'm looking for a volunteer assistant instructor who can help with the Saturday class at St Peter's Primary School. The venue is in Bournemouth BH7 6RG and starts at 9:30am and finishes at 11:30am. This is a active class full of children from 4yrs - 11yrs. Assistants would need to be DBS (CRB) checked unless you have one in place already.
Any Other Business? Of course if there are any suggestions, please feel free to fire them this way. firstname.lastname@example.org or mobile: 07885 381355. Thanks again for your continued support. Kind regards Des
