Taekwondo known for it's dynamic kicks and Olympic sport status as well as other disciplines such as Poomsae and Freestyle floor display entertains many crowds and attracts a wide age range of participants.
As KMA coach and father to one of the players Sienna, I'm very fortunate to teach such brave and hard working group of children; who demonstrated so much courage in the face of adversity.
The Premier Inn was well received on Friday 29th after the very long trip up from Bournemouth. The weigh in on Friday night meant the kids could indulge in some tasty grub and grab some sleep. The tournament started at 9am and the Peewees were the first players to get the competition underway. Needless to say nerves always play a part in any athletes journey and these kids really embraced the challenges that lay ahead. I say it's all part of character building, they cope and they face it head on. These skills will indeed pay them dividends in years to come. They are all champions in my eyes and are great captains who will go on and inspire other kids. Well done. Coach Des Day KMA Sports Academy
